Why podcasters use quso.ai for podcast clips
Start from a shortlist, not a 60-minute timeline
A 60-minute episode takes 60 minutes to watch and longer to cut by hand. quso.ai transcribes the speech and proposes candidate clips where a thought starts and ends, so you begin with a shortlist instead of a blank timeline. You still decide which clips represent the episode and which get dropped.
Captions and speaker layouts for two-person shows
Each candidate clip comes with captions generated from the transcript, editable word by word, in one of 10 animated styles. At upload, quso.ai asks how many speakers are on the episode. On paid plans, CutMagic offers single, two, three, and four-speaker layouts plus a screen-and-speaker layout, with active speaker detection so the frame follows whoever is talking.
Export or schedule from the review screen
Download finished clips as MP4, or schedule them to connected accounts with a date and time you pick. The free plan publishes to TikTok. Plans that include scheduling connect TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Pinterest; see the pricing page for which plan includes it.

How to make podcast clips with quso.ai
- Import the episode video. Sign up, then paste a link (YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, Dropbox, Zoom, Loom, and others) or upload an mp4, webm, or mov from your computer, Google Drive, or Box. Uploads are capped at 5 GB on the free plan and 15 GB on paid plans. Answer the question about how many speakers are on the recording.
- Wait for processing. It usually takes a few minutes, longer for a long episode. Each minute of video uses about one credit, so a 60-minute episode uses about 60 of the free plan's 75 monthly credits.
- Review the candidate clips. Check that each clip starts after the question is asked and ends before the guest's point trails off. Read the captions against the transcript and fix guest names, company names, and product names.
- Adjust what needs it. Drop clips that do not stand alone, cut a custom clip from the transcript where the proposals missed one, and change the caption style. On paid plans, pick a speaker layout and apply a brand template with your show's logo, colors, and font.
- Export or schedule. Download MP4s (up to 5 minutes per clip on the free plan, 60 minutes on paid plans), or schedule the approved clips to connected accounts. Nothing publishes until you choose to export or schedule it.

AI Podcast Clip Generator: short, captioned clips from a video episode
Start free, no card requiredA worked example: one 60-minute video podcast episode
Take a 60-minute interview episode recorded over Zoom with two speakers and published to the show's YouTube channel. The host signs in the morning after release, pastes the YouTube link, answers "two speakers" at upload, and waits a few minutes. Processing uses about 60 credits, which leaves about 15 on the free plan for the rest of the month; a weekly show would need a paid plan.
The review screen lists the candidate clips next to the transcript, plus longer 16:9 chapters. The host reads each candidate against the transcript: is the guest's name spelled correctly in the captions, does the clip start after the question and end before the answer trails off, does the point survive without the setup? Two candidates get dropped for cutting a story in half. One exchange the proposals missed, a short back-and-forth about pricing, becomes a custom clip selected straight from the transcript. Each kept clip gets a caption style; on a paid plan, the two-speaker CutMagic layout and the show's brand template go on at the same step.
The approved clips are downloaded as MP4s for Instagram and YouTube Shorts, and scheduled to the show's TikTok account across the week. Nothing went out that a person did not read first. That is the example, not a guarantee: a noisy recording produces fewer usable candidates, and an episode built around one long argument may yield more chapters than shorts.
The same review flow applies to any long recording, not only podcasts; the AI clip maker page covers webinars and interviews. For posting the clips on LinkedIn, follow the podcast to LinkedIn shorts workflow. Show notes, a newsletter, and an X thread from the same episode come from AI content repurposing.
